This morning is a cool morning and we have not had one of
these for awhile, headed out of camp around 9am as we had 40ks of slow road
before turning onto the Savannah Way.
We are now on the Savannah way and there seems to be a lot
of tar road before we hit the dirt again and lots of road works being done to
this section of the road.
Arrived at hells gate around 11am topped up our fuel talked
to the owner who is selling for awhile then headed off again. Just out of Hells
gate we came across Dill Doll Rock which was very interesting.
We had lunch just over the border into NT, we found Calvert
River and crossed the water and found a really nice camp on the hill so we
stayed there the night. We took a walk
down by the river in the afternoon could not swim as they say there are crocs
in this river.
