It was now to leave this lovely park and head for Katherine
to pick up our permits for Nhulumbuy so when we got to the land council our
permits where ready then we enquired about taking caravans to there and the
answer was no. Now what do we do go and
buy a tent and some sleeping mats but if we did that we had not cooking stuff
so it was time to give it a miss and head to Edith falls.
The camp ground there was getting very busy and we arrived
about 11:30 managed to get in even though they gave us the wrong site at first
and then the lady came running out to correct it.
After we had some lunch Paul & I went and found the
plunge pool, it was very big and really nice in so we stayed there until the
others arrived. Now it was onto the upper pool the way the boys took us was a
2k walk once there it was great. We headed back to camp after a hrs swim this
time took a different way 1k back to the car park.
