The Gorge is only 26ks out of town and we arrived very early
found a spot to camp it is a very nice park.
After we got organised we went back to the visitors centre to find out
about tours as there is no swimming in the gorge at the moment as they have not
cleared all the salt water crocs.
We ended up booking on a 3 gorge tour for the next day which
leaves 9am every morning. Back to camp for a swim in the lovely pool and relax
as we are going to do a walk later in the day.
The Baruwei Walk was a loop around 2ks so about 3pm was the
time to do it, we took the walk in reverse so we did not have to climb the
hundreds of stairs. The view at the
lookout was spectacular and well worth the walk.
