Before heading out today the guys had to drive over the bar
so they could have some photos and the locals told us there is a 4metre croc
hanging around there and the National Parks will be relocating soon. We did not see it and it was a good thing as
I was taking the photos.
We headed into Mataranka and we had to travel with our door
of the car ajar as our radio was not working but would work if the door was not
closed all the way another job to do. We
had lunch at Mataranka and started heading out and our engine light was on
again so we pulled over and had a look and decided to go back to town.
I got bitten by something and my neck started swelling up so
we found a medical centre and to cut a long story short after a few hrs there
the nurse decided to transfer me to Katherine in the 4x4 ambulance.
Once there at the hospital they checked me out and filled me
full of drugs kept me a couple of hrs and then let me go.
Mean while the boys and Pam found a park as it was now very
late.
